“Stone cove river”. This is the origin of Itaguai, a prominent city of the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, industrial district of increasing social en economic development. In this space of continuous growth, Patio Mix Costa Verde, a retail center planned to be a new destination, was designed to house a practice but extremely sensible consumer. Paired with this needs, architecture aimed to introduce functionality to cozy places, where the retail could be the real leader.

The design concept of this project combined the shopping centers market trends to the versatility and simplicity of the industrial spaces, besides the sustainable requirements of the contemporary architecture. Thus, was born a building of straight lines, naturally illuminated and ventilated galleries and strategically positioned soft living areas, specially planned to promote wellbeing and security to consumers.
