Shopping Sete Lagoas

Minas Gerais, Brazil
2007 | 2010

Shopping Sete Lagoas is the first large sized enterprise of retail, entertainment and services in the city of Sete Lagoas and about twenty three surrounding cities. This shopping is an architectural reference to the macro region of its insertion, since the opening in 2010, with intense accessibility and excellent location. It is a building with an architectural approach to create a unique and contemporary identity to propitiate innovative spatial experiences.
Local characteristics were taken in consideration to the project. The shape of the roofs of the main access refers to pig iron plants, sources of wealth of the region. The great opened plaza of the main entrance is totally integrated to the food court and other internal squares of the mall, creating an axis focused in the living spaces of guests and, inside a human scale approach, in the connection between both internal and external environments.
