Continuing the chronicle of Parque Global, this version reflects the ongoing socioeconomic transformations in Brazil, and consequently, in the development since its inception. The search for more ‘open’ and green spaces, along with a stronger real estate sector, are hallmarks of this phase, which in its final stage includes a shopping mall and seven residential towers.
This proposal does not treat the plot as an object, but rather as a ‘city’. The land was subdivided into austere and functional blocks, allowing for sustainable and rational growth. First, the shopping mall is built facing the Marginal (expressway), and later, along the remaining blocks, the residential developments are constructed in distinct phases.
The complexity involved in this project led us to approach the theme through a system of basic generative elements. This set of sequential principles has its own embedded, expressed, or latent connections, such that they can grow organically within their own system while preserving their holistic character.
